5 Moments that Mattered: Dreamforce ’24

Another Dreamforce in the books, another lineup of game-changing announcements!
I couldn’t make it over to San Fran this year, and the FOMO hit hard (the constant stream of content and photos every 5 mins didn’t help with the FOMO either!)
Fortunately, the virtual experience delivered gave me my fix —from the major keynotes to the cutting-edge AI announcements.
Here are CalibrX’s top takeaways from #DF24:
Salesforce + NVIDIA = AI Superpower
One of the most exciting announcements was Salesforce’s partnership with NVIDIA. This collaboration is designed to supercharge Salesforce’s generative AI capabilities using NVIDIA’s world-class infrastructure. From Einstein Copilot to real-time customer service solutions, this pairing brings unparalleled scalability and efficiency to AI-driven processes.

Agentforce Steals the Show
Salesforce introduced Agentforce, a game-changer in the world of autonomous AI. These agents are set to revolutionise workflows, automating tasks in sales, service, marketing, and commerce, all while making complex decisions in real time. The future of AI-driven business has arrived, and Agentforce is leading the charge.

Data Cloud Enhancements
If your organisation is dealing with large volumes of unstructured data—like video or audio—Salesforce’s Data Cloud is now your best friend. With new processing capabilities and real-time data activations, it allows businesses to derive insights faster than ever before. This is a huge leap for companies that rely on immediate data-driven decisions.

$1 Billion Investment in AI Startups
Salesforce Ventures has doubled down on AI, announcing a total of $1 billion in investments. With a new $500 million fund aimed at AI startups, Salesforce is fostering the next generation of AI innovation—an exciting opportunity for the AI ecosystem and for businesses looking to stay ahead.

Free AI Training Until 2025
Lastly, Salesforce is offering free AI certifications through Trailhead until the end of 2025. This is a massive win for anyone looking to upskill in AI, particularly given the growing demand for these capabilities across industries.

Though I wasn’t there in person this year, I’m already excited for what the future holds—both for Salesforce and for the businesses I work with who will be adopting these new technologies.
And as Australia’s leading Salesforce recruiters we’re ready to help you find the talent you need to keep pace with these big developments. If you’re looking to build or expand your Salesforce team, we’re here to guide you through it.
