From Sunrise to After Party: My Day at Agentforce World Tour Sydney 2025
We came, we saw, we conquered. Just like that, Agentforce World Tour Sydney 2025 is a wrap.
If your LinkedIn feed is anything like mine, it’s been totally inundated with Agentforce World Tour content over the past couple of days. And if I’m being honest, I had every intention of getting my thoughts out earlier, but between the hundreds of interactions, big announcements, and huge industry insights, it’s taken me a good few days to fully digest everything!
One thing is crystal clear with me though: from the early morning start to a late-night finish, it was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love being part of the Salesforce ecosystem.

An Early Start and Non-Stop Conversations
The day kicked off at 7am with the Salesforce User Group breakfast, where we got straight into discussions about Agents and the evolving role they play in the ecosystem. These early-morning catch-ups set the tone for what was to come: a full day of reconnecting with old friends, colleagues, customers, and candidates—and meeting plenty of new faces along the way.
That’s one of the best things about World Tour—it’s not just about the big announcements; it’s about the people. In a digital-first world where most of our interactions happen over Zoom, Slack, and LinkedIn, this event provides a rare opportunity to meet face-to-face, share insights, and have real, meaningful conversations about the industry.
For me, the next eight hours were a blur of handshakes, quick coffees, deep dives into market trends, and plenty of impromptu catch-ups. Across the floor, there were hundreds of Braindates, engaging campfire chats, and theatre sessions that covered everything from AI in Salesforce to career progression in the ecosystem.
The After-Party: Wrapping Up in Style
Of course, no World Tour would be complete without an after-party. This year, we co-sponsored the Planar event, which ran from 5pm until well past 11pm. As the official sessions wrapped up, the conversations continued over drinks and food, with the Salesforce community coming together to celebrate another huge year.
By the time I left, my feet were aching, my legs and back were sore—but it was absolutely worth it.
5 Key Takeaways from the Event
So, after a day of non-stop conversations, what were the big themes that stood out?
🚀 Market Optimism is Back – There was a real sense of positivity across the event, and we’re seeing it reflected in hiring. More projects are kicking off, and more roles are coming in. While 2024 had its challenges, 2025 is shaping up to be a year of strong growth.
💰 Salesforce is Going All In on ANZ – One of the biggest announcements of the day was Salesforce’s $2.5 billion investment in the region over the next five years. That’s a massive confidence boost for the local ecosystem and a clear sign that demand for Salesforce talent will only increase.
🤖 AI is No Longer Optional – AI was everywhere. Whether it was the latest updates to Einstein 1, the discussions around AI-driven automation, or customer success stories, one thing was clear: if you’re not already using AI in your Salesforce environment, you’re behind. To state the obvious, companies that embrace it now will have a competitive edge.
🔥 A Community That Keeps Giving – One of the most inspiring parts of Agentforce World Tour was seeing the community in action. The number of Braindates, theatre sessions, and hands-on demos happening throughout the day was incredible. This isn’t just a tech event, it’s a place where people genuinely want to share knowledge, help others grow, and push the ecosystem forward.
🏆 A Well-Deserved Golden Hoodie – It was fantastic to see my friend and well-deserving recipient Robert Lopez pull on the Golden Hoodie! A huge achievement and recognition of his contributions to the Salesforce community—if you’re not already following him, get on it: Robert Lopez. Congrats Rob!
Final Thoughts
It goes without saying that Agentforce World Tour Sydney 2025 was an amazing day and one that brought the Salesforce community together in the best way possible.
Whether it was reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new talent, or getting a front-row seat to where the industry is heading, it’s no wonder that it took a few days to fully digest everything.
If we caught up during the event, great to see you! If we missed each other, let’s chat. And if you’re looking to navigate the Salesforce hiring market in 2025, I’d love to help.
See you next year, Agentforce World Tour!
